In South Africa you will find many game reserves that is ideal for hunting
and safaris. We can arrange whatever you require to ensure an unforgettable
African experience. The game reserves caters for everyone from those with
a limited budget to luxurious 5 star accommodation. Hunt any of the Big
Five (Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino) Bookings for hunting
safaris must be made well in advance, as this is an extremely popular
leisure activity. We also arrange bird hunts.
DOWN SOUTH WILDLIFE
(1hr from Cape Town) Day fees:
$430 per hunter per day

Other species:
All other species can be hunted including the big five. (Lion, Leopard,
Elephant, Rhino ans Baffallo) It must be booked six months in advance.
Permit:
The provincial authorities require certain permits. These include hunting
licence: $25 per hunter. Non-cites export permit: $8. Cites export permit
for bontebok: $35. These prices do not include commission and may be changed
by the authorities at any stage.
Taxidermy cost:
The client may send his trophies to a taxidermist of his choice. The mounting
of the trophies is between the client and the taxidermist. I include the
prices of the local taxidermist whom I take my trophies to. If the client
wishes to take his trophies elswhere, he will be responsible for the cost.
The price for the Taxidermy is ± $275 subject to the animal.
NOTE: The client must
pay 50% of the taxidermy cost immediately and 50% on receipt of the trophy.
Bird

Allow one to two days in between for travel time.
REMARKS:
Hunting will be
conducted by some of the most knowledgeable game bird guides and the
best gundogs / Bird boys in some of the best game bird location in the
country.
Birds hunting in
most provinces is from 15 May to 30 September
Hunting parties
from 1 to 8 persons maximum. (4 Pax preferred)
Luxury accommodation
at nearby location available.
Air transport to
widely different location and larger variety of game bird species can
be arranged.
Pre surveys will
be done in all locations to determine game bird density, but due to
environmental and scenting condition no number can be guaranteed.
Hunter should be
fit and willing to walk ±10 to 15 km per day sometimes in the
mountainous countryside.
Bag limits of 20
birds per person per day apply in most provinces.
Hunting rifle/gun
can be provided. It is preferred that the client bring his own Rifle/gun.
Dog hunter can
be provided.
