Offering fantastic views of the Central Business District skyline as well as the Marina Bay, this grandstand offers spectators a close-up look at the action in the comfort of the cool sea breeze. Despite being one of the slowest parts of the circuit, this section proved to be a challenge for a number of the drivers last year and it was here that Nelson Piquet spectacularly crashed.
After running along the waterfront in front of the Bay Grandstand, the cars turn in under the grandstand itself. This is just one of several unique features of the Singapore circuit.
New for 2009, instead of the support paddock, this area will see increased Food & Beverage outlets, live entertainment as well as spectacular roving entertainment acts.
Spectators at the Bay Grandstand have full access to Zone 3 as well as Zone 4. Please refer to the map for exact zone locations.
